About:
Philadelphia Art Museum: The Art Museum is a world-renowned collection of fixed and rotating collections. It features more than just painting and sculpture, but also has fabrics and architecture--including a life-size Japanese tea house! Wednesdays are “Pay What You Wish” at the Art Museum, so your group can go for little to no cost.
The Oval: Located right outside the Art Museum, the Oval is a circular space that features all kinds of activities throughout the summer, from food truck festivals to outdoor movies. You can keep track of their events calendar here and through their Facebook page.
LOVE Statue & City Hall: Philly’s iconic LOVE statue is located right next to City Hall. The statue’s usual location - JFK Plaza - is undergoing major renovations, so the statue is featured in Dillworth Plaza, right next to City Hall. Snap a picture with the statue and then wander through Dillworth Plaza into the City Hall center courtyard. Remember that William Penn on top of City Hall used to be the highest point in the city!
